To give you a better glimpse of what my group and I are trying to accomplish when researching the topic of Romantic Comedy Effects you must first understand that many relationships are built on media in today's society and although it may have positive effects, tit also has negative effects. We are examining what are the psychological effects of romance in films on teenage girls, ages 14-18, specifically the effects on their perception of relationships/romance.We will look at the portrayal of teen relationships in movies and how that has changed over time dating from the hit movie "Grease" to the modern teen movie "Juno." Looking at how these films and others as well, have impacted the lives of many teen females
