This blog has been dedicated to research the topic of The Effect of Romantic Comedies on presumably teenage and young women. Our group aims to analyze how the targeted audience reacts to the concepts and themes placed in Romantic comedies. It is important to research this topic due to the fact that many young women and teenagers adopt these principles from romantic comedies and use them to govern their very own individual relationships. The negative effects of this is that the concepts used in romantic comedies are unrealistic and can be destructive in terms of real-life relationships. Monogamy, celibacy, and marriage are all transformed in context while viewing romantic comedies. People may see these things as a joke or humorous and non-realistic goals in society. As noted by various researchers viewers tend to subconsciously adopt these behavioral patterns and ideas that rejects monogamy and celibacy as a realistic goal and it causes them to do things they would not ordinarily do.
